Pam and Chris Rossi, proprietors of Lawn Doctor of Eastern Columbus, moved to Columbus in 2013, bringing with them the dream of starting their own husband-and-wife business. That move, combined with their immediate attachment to the area, sparked the inspiration to own and operate a Lawn Doctor franchise.

“We knew about Lawn Doctor from way back,” says Chris. “Both Pam and I grew up on the east coast, and Lawn Doctor is one of the top lawn care providers in New Jersey. We always saw their trucks driving around – the ones with the BIG GREEN THUMB on them!”

The couple’s business savvy is exceptional. Pam earned a bachelor’s degree in Business from West Chester University in Eastern Pennsylvania and has 20+ years’ experience in corporate retail. Chris earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Lehigh University and a Law Degree from New York Law School.

“When we moved to Columbus we immediately fell in love with it,” says Pam. “We love that Columbus is a city with a small-town feel. It is very cultural, has great restaurants, and there are a lot of family activities going on every weekend, such as farmers markets, festivals and fairs.”

“Most of our social life centers around our daughters and their activities,” Pam adds. “We love barbeques, gardening, and cheering on our daughters at their many soccer games!”
