New Location
We are finalizing our move to 1005 Old Henderson Road, Columbus, 43220. Our Post Office Box address will remain the same as will our phone number (614-771-1589). This move allows us to be more centrally located in Columbus.
We have also put a new phone system in place. You can choose from a menu for your call to be directed to the appropriate team member based upon your needs.
Grub Control
Grubs will again be a huge problem in Greater Columbus. We have a had a wet spring and grubs will be abundant. Please ensure that you have Grub Control as part of your services with us. Grubs can ruin a lawn very quickly. Grubs are the larvae of beetles and are voracious grass root eaters. We saw dozens and dozens of lawns wiped out partially or entirely in 2017.
Preventive Grub Control is an insurance policy in that if you would have grub damage, Lawn Doctor will apply a curative grub control and seed the impacted areas.
Yard Armour Flea & Tick Care
Fleas and Ticks are also projected to be in high numbers this year. Tick can transmit many dangerous diseases such as Lyme and Powassan Disease. Protect your family and pets from these insects. We have a program where Lawn Doctor sprays your lawn to protect you and your pets from these pests. The program consists of 4 visits spread out 30 days between visits.
Yard Armour Mosquito Control
Mosquitoes are not only a nuisance, they are dangerous carrying numerous diseases. Our Yard Armour Mosquito program targets mosquitoes where they live: in ornamental trees and shrubs and other vegetation around the property.
It is critical that you ensure that breeding sites are minimized by emptying out bowls, planters and other sources where the mosquitoes lay their eggs. Call us to learn more about our Yard Armour Mosquito program.
After Service Emails following each service
We send after-service emails that detail the services we performed as well as issues that need to be addressed on your lawn. Please ensure you review these emails which are delivered after our work is posted in our system. If you are not receiving these reports, please check your SPAM folder to ensure we are not being blocked.
Call or email when you need help
If you have problems with your lawn, please call or email us and we can discuss what is going on. Feel free to send pictures of your lawn as well. We are happy to set up a one on one meeting at your home to evaluate your lawn. Feel Free to send pictures as well. Often we can assess issues from your pictures.
