What to Expect with Weeds

From dandelions to wild violets to hairy bittercress and more, now is the time that pesky weeds try to take over. While it may not be the answer you’d like to hear, it does take some time to control weeds in your lawn. While our treatments cause weeds that have been sprayed to die within 10 days or so, they cannot prevent new broadleaf weeds from popping up in between visits.
Patience is crucial, as doing too much to your lawn in too short a time can damage the grass and make it even easier for weeds to crowd it out. The best way to prevent weeds is to crowd them out with a thick and healthy lawn. Proper cultural care along with maintenance treatments and seedings will improve your lawn quality, but it will take time to reach its full potential.
