Our Story

Built Local. Built to Do It Right.

Our location was founded by Frank Cash in 2015. After 7 years, in 2022, he sold the business to Charlie Reddington, who now runs the day-to-day operations.

Meet Charlie

Charlie didn’t come from lawn care—he came up through systems.

His first job was at McDonald’s at 17, where he spent 7 years working across multiple locations—moving from crew member to trainer, maintenance, shift manager, and beyond. He saw firsthand how powerful strong systems and consistent execution can be.

That was his first exposure to a franchise system.

After McDonald’s, Charlie worked in factories and logistics—including Landis Plastics, Borg Warner, and FedEx—before attending night school at a technical college and earning certifications in multiple areas of IT.

He then spent the next 20 years in technology and eventually found his way back into management—working with startups and technology companies, building systems, improving operations, and focusing on reliability, uptime, team development, and customer experience. His biggest takeaway was that it all comes down to helping people.

Eventually, he stepped away from the desk to build something local, reliable, and easier for customers to work with.

Lawn Doctor stood out because it offered the ability to be part of a proven system—while still building something of your own.

That background shapes how we run the business every day.
