Liquid Aeration vs Mechanical Aeration

The advantage of liquid aeration is deeper penetration. Mechanical core aeration methods are often limited to 2-3 inches, whereas liquid aeration solutions can penetrate deep down into the root networks with gravity’s help.

By utilizing key bio-stimulants and highly oxidizing material 2 times a year at key growth stages, N-Ext Air-8™ will give you the “breakthrough” you’ve been looking for in your lawn care program. N-Ext Air-8™ is designed to loosen topsoil and encourage deeper rooting to allow for greater oxygenation of the root zone.

The most crucial time for aeration is spring and fall, especially if your lawn has just endured a harsh summer and winter. By using N-Ext Air-8, you can breathe new life into a lawn suffering from compacted soil and a suffocating layer of thatch.

We firmly believe that it’s vital to repeat the process in the summer and the fall. Many homeowners aerate their lawns just once a year and suffer the consequences. By liquid aerating 2X per year, you can enjoy much healthier growth and better prepare your grass for the winter months when you’re not mowing or fertilizing. Therefore, when spring arrives, your lawn will green up quicker and be ready to thrive with warm temperatures.

By contrast, manual and machine-led methods take hours. Manual spiking machines, and spike shoes, in particular, take hours to get anywhere near the same level of penetration as liquid lawn aeration. Even with a specialized machine, it takes several passes to get enough holes into the soil for the inherent benefits. There’s no such problem with liquid lawn aerators. All you have to do is spend a few minutes spraying the solution onto your grass and let it work wonders.

No Unsightly Plugs, No Broken Pipes, No Damaged Wires: One of the biggest problems with mechanical core aeration is the unsightly soil plugs they leave behind. Running over your lawn with a mechanical aerator can leave your lawn looking nothing short of a battlefield. In addition, there is no damage done to irrigation, underground dog containment wiring, or other utilities that we cannot see. This is a big problem with mechanical aeration which can lead to expensive repairs. While it’s true that these soil plugs do disintegrate over time, there’s no need to ruin the appearance of your lawn for the sake of aeration.
With liquid lawn aeration, the product gets to work beneath the surface, leaving your lawn looking as beautiful as it did before treatment. You enjoy all of the benefits of aeration, with none of the associated downsides.
