Grub and Armyworm Prevention Program – 3 services between May and September
Preventative treatments should be applied before grub eggs have hatched. This will allow the product to kill the grubs when they are in their early stages, before they can do damage.
Most grubs hatch between May and August. Armyworms like to appear in our area between August and early October. Our Grub and armyworm control Program consists of 3 applications between May and September to prevent these pests from destroying your lawn. Call for quote and add to our basic lawn fertilization and weed control program.
Armyworm Treatment Application
Applying a fast acting insecticide is crucial to get rid of armyworms. The exact times of the year for fall armyworm activity differ by geographical location; however, they’re generally active between the months of July and October in our area. The best approach is prevention, as they can destroy a lawn in 24 hrs. Sign up for our grub and armyworm prevention program or at least sign up for our #3 application in July.
