Lawn Doctor of Longview-Kilgore, TX is owned and operated by Chris Clark. Originally from the panhandle of Florida and South Alabama, Chris graduated high school in Foley, Alabama in 1991. After high school he enlisted in the United States Air Force in September 1991 and served until September 1995 at various duty stations as a security policeman. Chris also served overseas in the United Kingdom, Spain, and in Saudi Arabia in support of Operation Desert Storm. His last duty assignment was at Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City, Louisiana where he met his wife Majel, originally from East Texas on a blind date. They have been married for over 26 years and raised three children Tad, Hannah, and Jarrod in Longview, Texas.
After the military, Chris continued to serve the public and was employed by the Gregg County Sheriff’s Department from November 1995 to April 1998. In May 1998 Chris was hired by the Longview Police Department as a police officer. During his career with the Longview PD, Chris was promoted to supervisor and served in many areas such as patrol, criminal investigations, and crash investigations. In August 2019 Chris retired from the police department and opened Lawn Doctor of Longview-Kilgore. With his entire career dedicated to serving the public in some capacity Lawn Doctor was the perfect fit.

Chris now provides lawn care service to the Longview-Kilgore area that he has called home for over 25 years. In his free time Chris enjoys playing with his two dogs, Molly a Pug and Chloe a Chug. He also enjoys traveling, as well as anything to do with sun, sand, boating, and of course saltwater fishing. Chris is also proud to participate in community events for Mothers Against Drunk Driving and Alzheimer’s Walks.
