Lawn Leveling is the process of adding sand or a mixture of sand and organic compost on top of existing grass to correct divots, holes, bumps, and poorly laid sod. The process includes scalping the lawn, aerating the lawn, and spreading the material across the lawn using a golf course-style spreading machine, leveling rakes, and drags to smooth out the existing issues.
