About Us

Will and Scott Franks are a father-son team based in Greenville, SC. This charming city consistently earns praises from travel and business magazines, ranking it among the top ten small cities in the country—and the Franks couldn’t agree more. With its picturesque downtown featuring Falls Park, an array of shops, restaurants, cultural events, the Swamp Rabbit Trail, and its proximity to Paris Mountain, Greenville has it all. The Franks are proud to introduce Lawn Doctor of Greenville-Simpsonville-Easley to this vibrant community, adding to its many outstanding qualities.

Scott Franks has been a resident of Greenville, SC, since 2010. He discovered his passion for landscaping during his teenage years, working for a local landscaper by mowing lawns. After relocating to Greenville, he served as the sales manager for a leading lawn care company. Through his experiences in the lawn care industry and other businesses, Scott realized the importance of fostering a positive company culture that prioritizes both customers and employees.  He is thrilled to work alongside his father to grow Lawn Doctor, providing opportunities not only for himself but also for his nephew Lukas, who has Down syndrome, and others who can thrive with the right opportunities. On weekends, you might spot Scott, his girlfriend Jess, and Lukas cruising around Greenville, SC, in Scott’s ’73 Camaro hot rod.

Will Franks is a business process improvement consultant who has worked with hundreds of teams within large, well-known companies. His focus lies in simplifying business processes, spanning from customer service to complex engineering and manufacturing. Collaborating with Scott on Lawn Doctor is a dream come true for Will.  This partnership allows him not only to work alongside his son, but also to share his knowledge as they build the business together.  Will’s wife of 41 years, Lisa, is also actively involved in the business, providing invaluable support with various office duties

The Franks family are deeply devoted to the local Down syndrome community, both as avid supporters and personal donors. Lukas, Scott’s nine-year-old nephew, is an exceptionally kind-hearted individual. He enjoys riding in the truck with Scott and spending quality time with Will (“Pops”) in their various activities. The Franks are committed to helping others with Down syndrome lead fuller, more inclusive lives. Their aspiration is to grow Lawn Doctor enough to offer opportunities to those with Down syndrome, teaching them essential life skills and demonstrating their true value and abilities. As part of this vision, they plan to establish a local non-profit Down syndrome organization to support these goals.
