Great Gift Ideas for the Man Who Has Everything – Your Dad!

Father’s Day is right around the corner, and if you’re like most people, you’re stumped on what gift you could possible get your dad, the man who has everything!  So we came up with some ideas to help him get the one thing money can’t buy – time with you!

For the Dad Who Grills

We love the idea of a gift basket (even if dad doesn’t like the basket itself, maybe mom will!  Bonus brownie points!) filled with everything from sauce and spices to cleaning supplies.  Or how about a new spatula with a funny note attached?

For the Competitive Dad

If there is no professional sports team in your area (or at least not any that fit into your budget), look into getting dad tickets to a local team.  There are local A, AA, and AAA MLB teams all over the country.  Not to mention semi-pro leagues.  Dig out your old glove and play catch in the parking lot before the game!  Try and get a good picture together to frame with the tickets.

If golf is Dad’s preference, pick up a set of golf balls or gift certificate from the pro shop and set a tee time!  Does Dad have a poker night with his buddies?  Get him a new poker set and see if he still lets you win!  Go simple or extravagant – the time he spends with you will be his favorite part!

For the Fisherman Dad

Whether dad catches his fish from the shore or a boat, Dad is always telling his “fish tales”.  Why not get him some new gear and head out together!  From a new rod, reel or tackle box, to a fishing chair.  A fish cleaning table and fillet knife set would help him get the catch ready to serve and keep him from making a mess in the kitchen!  If you’re feeling extra loving, throw in some of those grill ideas we talked about before!

Let’s face it, most dads fall into two categories – the kind that are up to date on all of the latest technology, and those who have difficulty turning on the computer and responding to an e-mail!  If your dad falls into the first category, here are some techy gift ideas that you can use together!
