Power Seeding. Power seeding takes lawn seeding a step further. With it, a machine is used to cultivate the soil, mixing grass seed right into the soil. As a result, new seed comes in better contact with the soil and has an increased chance of germinating and growing. That’s where aeration seeding can help. With it, you simply aerate first, coring out plugs of soil to break up surface thatch and compaction. New seed is then planted into the decompressed soil, providing for better seed-to-soil contact and friendlier conditions for grass to grow.
