Rain, Rain, Don’t Go Away!<\/strong><\/h4>\n

We are currently in an extended period of no rain, with temperatures rising at the same time. This weather can be very damaging to your lawn, especially if it is being mowed too short. Keep your lawn between 3.5\u201d to 4\u201d tall <\/strong>to prevent scalping.<\/p>\n

If you do not have an irrigation system, make sure you are watering your lawn during periods of no rain like this. Lawns need about 1.5\u201d of water each week<\/strong>, which should only be given in one to two longer watering sessions per week. Watering too often and for too short a time can cause damage as well.<\/p>\n

In general, we are also recommending that you water your lawn 24 hours after each Lawn Doctor visit. <\/strong>This gives the weed control plenty of time to soak in while helping the granular products to break down quicker and more easily.<\/p>\n
