This is your comprehensive guide to ensuring your Bermuda, Zoysia, and Fescue lawns thrive in the spring sunlight.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Mowing Recommendations<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Bermuda Grass:<\/strong>\u00a0As temperatures rise, begin mowing your Bermuda grass when it reaches 2 to 3 inches. Keep it trimmed to about 1.5 to 2 inches for optimal health and robustness.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Zoysia Grass:<\/strong>\u00a0For Zoysia, mow when it starts to reach 2-3 inches, maintaining a height of around 1 to 2 inches. This grass type thrives with regular mowing during spring.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fescue Grass:<\/strong>\u00a0Fescue lawns can be maintained at a height of 3 to 4 inches. Mow regularly to promote new growth and discourage weeds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Watering Recommendations<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Spring brings warmer temperatures and, with that, the need for adequate watering:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Bermuda and Zoysia Grass:<\/strong>\u00a0Water deeply but infrequently, aiming for 1 to 1.5 inches of water weekly to encourage deep root growth. Water early in the morning to reduce evaporation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fescue Grass:<\/strong>\u00a0Fescue lawns require about 1 to 1.5 inches weekly, but adjust based on rainfall to not allow the ground to be dried out for multiple days in a row. Consistent moisture is key for lush green growth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Common Fungus Issues:<\/strong> With the onset of warm, humid weather, fungus can become a concern. It is crucial to be vigilant! Common issues include brown patches and powdery mildew. If you suspect any fungal growth in your lawn, please reach out to us immediately. Our program includes a prevention strategy targeting these concerns, especially in May and June.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Spring Treatments:<\/strong> This season, every lawn will benefit from our specialized treatments. We utilize top-quality products to ensure your lawn stays healthy and vibrant. This process involves removing small plugs of soil from your Bermuda or Zoysia lawn to enhance airflow, nutrient access, and water penetration to the roots.
