Seeding time to prevent weeds begins in mid-August, just a few weeks away. Whether you do it or Lawn Doctor does, your lawn needs some new seed added <u>every year.<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Pre-emergent weed protection expires late summer, as it should, to allow adding grass seed every fall.\u00a0 Expect some new weeds to start appearing on any open soil on your lawn, including concrete edges that were exposed by trimming too aggressively.<\/p>\n<p>Most folks can identify Crabgrass. It&#8217;s the main target for our early season weed protection materials. Bet you&#8217;ve seen it starting already in July.
