Lawn Doctor of Walnut Creek-Concord is owned and operated by brothers Peter and David Larson.\u00a0 Both are native Californians born in Berkeley back in the early 60\u2019s.\u00a0\u00a0 However, they grew up on the other coast in Wilmington, Delaware.\u00a0 In middle school\/high school, they moved with their family to St. Louis, Missouri.\u00a0 Peter went on to graduate with a fine arts degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia and David graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Southeast Missouri\u00a0 State University in Cape Girardeau.<\/p>\n
Peter helped raise three daughters, two of which graduated college with the youngest just completing her Master\u2019s program last year.\u00a0 With all three independent, Peter decided to move back to his roots after leaving a successful career at All State Insurance for the past ten years.\u00a0 Peter relocated to San Ramon where he could be close to his parents.<\/p>\n
\u201cI really liked my position at All State as I got to work with the public and help them with products which gave them peace of mind.\u00a0 Lawn Doctor gives me the same pleasure with continuing to work with the public; also helping them achieve their lawn care goals and providing a tangible service which people appreciate.\u201d<\/p>\n
David has been back in California since 1988.\u00a0 Initially working for 7-Eleven Inc. as a District Manager and then caught the computer bug in 2000 where he managed the Service Desk for a large financial services company in San Francisco.\u00a0 David also managed the Service Desk for a large semi-conductor company in Silicon Valley where he oversaw and provided the computer support for seven offices throughout the United States.<\/p>\n
\u201cMaking the transition from 7-Eleven to technical support in computers was easy for me as it was always about providing the best customer service.\u00a0 The same holds true with my desire to transition from technical support to Lawn Doctor.\u00a0 First and foremost, it is all about providing the best customer support and experience for my clients.\u00a0 Listening to my customers lawn care goals and then exceeding them is my number one priority.\u201d<\/p>\n
In their spare time, both Peter and David love to cook.\u00a0 While Peter leans more toward anything Mexican, such as burritos, tacos, fajitas, etc., David enjoys cooking anything on his Traeger from steak, chicken, ribs, fish, jerky, you name it.\u00a0 Both are diehard baseball fans who still cheer for their hometown St. Louis Cardinals.\u00a0 Peter is also an avid college football fan as well as St. Louis Blues hockey fan while David follows the Golden State Warriors basketball team.<\/p>\n
