Lawn Doctor of Chagrin Falls-Chardon and Willoughby-Mentor are owned by husband and wife team Alan and Tami Eggleston. Both longtime residents of the Chardon area, they share in the community\u2019s abundant pride in homeownership. The Egglestons are also very familiar with local conditions, including the wide variety of weeds; significant amount of properties that have ponds and low-lying areas where mosquitoes love to breed, and the incidence of tick infestations.<\/p>\n
Alan cut his \u201clawn care teeth\u201d on his own three-acre lot, which once was a farmer\u2019s field used to grow hay. \u201cThe nutrients were almost entirely depleted, and if it wasn\u2019t for the weeds and clover, there would not have been much to mow,\u201d Alan says. \u201cI love working outside and seeing the results of my efforts. Today, the yard is a standout.\u201d<\/p>\n
Customer service is another point of pride for the Egglestons. Alan and Tami perfected their customer experience skills at Party Loft, the family-owned store they opened in Chardon in 2010. \u201cAnyone who visits Party Loft immediately knows it\u2019s a unique store,\u201d states Alan. \u201cTeam members always greet and assist customers \u2013 a customer experience we replicated for our Lawn Doctor business.\u201d Tami adds, \u201cThe advantage customers have in working with us is that we take guaranteeing our work to the next level.
