Tonight is the Draconid meteor shower. If you live in the Brockton area, you\u2019ve got a good chance of getting a glimpse of a shooting star. The peak watching time for the Draconid meteor shower is early in the evening, immediately after the sun has gone down. This makes it a great meteor shower to watch with your kids \u2013 many other meteor showers don\u2019t take place until well after bedtime!<\/p>\n

Backyard astronomy is a fun activity. Best of all, it\u2019s free. Getting out in the night and gazing at the stars doesn\u2019t require any expensive equipment. You can just use your eyes and see a lot of amazing stuff. That being said, adding a pair of binoculars or even a telescope to the night will allow you to see so much more.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re going to host a stargazing party in your backyard, give your Brockton lawn service a head\u2019s up. That way you can ensure your grass is freshly mowed and looking great.
