Liming

Balanced PH is necessary for plants to receive the proper nutrients that help maintain lawn health. When soils become too acidic nutrients that grass plants need to thrive become unavailable. Applying lime will correct this problem as well as reduce fungus problems and slow thatch buildup.

Soil Enrichment

At the root of every beautiful lawn is healthy soil. This unique two-service program improves soil structure and provides a combination of vital benefits:

  • Reduces soil compaction
  • Increases fertilizer and nutrient absorption
  • Improves grass root health and depth
  • Improves water retention, lowering water requirements
  • Reduces thatch due to increased microbial activity
  • Enhances soil’s natural resistance to pests and disease

Core Aeration

This machine will remove thousands of finger-sized plugs of soil from your lawn to open passageways for oxygen, nutrients, and moisture. Core aeration helps fertilizer and other beneficial materials reach the root system more effectively.

Core aeration can benefit your lawn in many ways:

  • Reduces thatch due to increased microbial activity
  • Increases air to soil transfer
  • Improves water absorption
  • Encourages stronger roots
  • Increases fertilizer effectiveness
  • Enhances drought stress tolerance

Exclusive Power Seeding

Our patented Power Seeder mixes the grass seed into the soil for maximum germination. Our Power Seeder also seeds your lawn without damaging your existing grass plants and eliminates the need to apply straw. With a 90% germination rate our results far exceed the typical 30% germination rate of core aeration and overseeding.

Tree and Shrub Care

Our Tree and Shrub Care Program consists of five annual services, consisting of disease and insect control and deep root fertilization.

Moss Control

Moss is a common problem on lawns. Moss forms and thrives due to wet conditions with underlying problems such as low fertility, high soil acidity, heavy shade, improper watering practices, and poorly drained soil.

Our program will control this pesky problem and provide recommendations to fix the underlying problems.

Grub Control

Grubs are the larval stage of several beetles. During their life cycle they exist about two inches below the lawn’s surface and feed on the root system. Damage usually starts in late spring but the visible damage will be evident in the late summer and early fall. A spring application of grub control will prevent the extensive damage grubs can cause.

Nutsedge Control

Nutsedge appears in the summer as lighter green-colored grass that grows faster than the other grasses on the lawn. Let us know and we will use a specialty product to reduce this unsightly grassy weed. Pulling nutsedge out will cause it to spread.
