Is Lawn Doctor locally owned or is it a national chain? Lawn Doctor consists of locally owned and operated businesses backed by a national brand and patented equipment. Your local Lawn Doctor location is a franchise – bringing local and regional expertise to customize your yard care. These experts understand the needs and environmental conditions of your specific area and leverage that information to create effective yard care programs. As part of Lawn Doctor, Inc., each franchise is backed by a national company that supports outreach and training efforts, while providing a network of other lawn care experts as a resource for every yard’s solutions. Lawn Doctor is the nation’s largest automated lawn care franchise, with approximately 500 franchises in 40 states and Puerto Rico.
I don’t know what’s wrong with my yard, but I don’t like the way it looks. Can Lawn Doctor help me? Yes! Our local lawn service professionals will start by providing a FREE evaluation to determine the current state of your lawn and landscaping, as well as what services would help improve and maintain them. Lawn Doctor provides services for lawns and trees and shrubs that help improve and maintain the overall health and appearance of your lawn. We also provide pest control to keep bugs outside the home with our perimeter pest service. Click here to enter your zip code and locate the Lawn Doctor in your area, or call 1.877.LAWNDR1 ( 1.877.529.6371 ). Does Maintainer Care offer everything my lawn or trees will need? Maintainer Care is designed to provide the basics most lawns and trees need to remain healthy. For lawns, this includes fertilization, broadleaf weed control, pre-emergent weed control and integrated pest management. For trees and shrubs, Maintainer Care includes an inspection/evaluation, treatments for common insects and diseases, and fertilization and micronutrient application. However, some lawns and trees with serious underlying health issues require additional services to become healthy, which is why Lawn Doctor also offers Custom Care services. These services are available as needed, rather than being applied during routine Maintainer Care visits. You do not have to be a Maintainer Care customer to order a Custom Care service.
What results should I expect after using Lawn Doctor? Your service program is scheduled to provide nutrients, weed and insect controls that provide optimum agronomic effectiveness. Your lawn should be thick, lush and green. You should see better flowering with thicker density and greener foliage from your trees and shrubs. Pests will be prevented from invading and infesting your home. Between Lawn Doctor visits, you can help keep your lawn and landscape healthy by following our tips for watering, mowing and pruning.
What if I still observe problems after a Lawn Doctor visit? At Lawn Doctor, we guarantee our Maintainer Care services. For lawns and trees – If any Lawn Doctor Lawn Maintainer Care application does not achieve satisfactory results, simply tell us. As your locally owned Lawn Doctor dealer, we’ll either return and reapply that application at no additional charge or refund the full cost of your last application.
For pests – While you may see an occasional pest between service visits, the residual action of the service should prevent insects from infesting your home. If you have more than an occasional pest sighting please call us at 1.877.LAWNDR1 ( 1.877.529.6371 ). If any Lawn Doctor Perimeter Pest Control application doesn’t achieve satisfactory results, simply tell us. Your local Lawn Doctor will either return and reapply that application at no additional charge or refund the full cost of your last application. If your lawn or trees and shrubs develop a new issue before your next scheduled visit, contact your local Lawn Doctor and ask about a Custom Care option.
How often will Lawn Doctor need to visit to keep my lawn and trees healthy and my home pest free? Because services are designed to fulfill the needs of your specific yard, there is no exact timeframe that services must be applied. We don’t schedule services on a one-size-fits-all basis. However, a typical lawn needs four to six applications per year. Our exclusive Turf Tamer® equipment is extremely efficient, capable of applying fertilizer and treating every inch of your lawn. Plus, you don’t even have to be home at the time of our service. Instead of spending endless hours on yard work, you can be spending time with your family or participating in your favorite pastime. Why is it important to keep a lawn healthy and well-maintained? A healthy lawn is good for the environment because it helps cleanse the air and water. Regular mowing helps maintain both the appearance and the health of your lawn, so as a general rule, the more frequently you mow, the better. Removing weeds and bugs from your lawn helps improve its overall health. A lawn in poor condition may take heroic efforts to restore, but a healthy lawn requires less effort to keep it maintained.
Does Lawn Doctor mow? Lawn Doctor doesn’t offer mowing services, but some locations do offer mower maintenance to help improve the longevity of your equipment and the resulting condition of your lawn. Ask your local Lawn Doctor expert for a mowing service provider recommendation. Do you use liquid or dry granular materials? We use both liquid and dry granular to build the quality of lawn you want. Most of the materials are granular, but liquids are used when they achieve better results. The application rates of both are electronically controlled by our exclusive Turf Tamer® application equipment, which is ground-metered. This metering system assures an even application, regardless of how quickly or slowly the Turf Tamer® is moving.
